Team Leader providing strategic advisory services. Former VP Berklee College of Music in Boston, and the founder and CEO of Berklee Online. Kusek helped develop the Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI), co-invented the first electronic drums “Synare”, and co-founded Passport Designs, the first music software company. In 2005 he co-authored the best selling music business book “The Future of Music”. Kusek has produced hundreds of online courses for major institutions and provides strategic planning and advisory services worldwide.
Consulting Partner / Producer
An experienced producer, researcher, interviewer, writer, editor and group facilitator, Lindsay began her career in Silicon Valley working for Apple Computer. She has broad experience in Business Journalism, Marketing and Public Relations. In addition, Lindsay has led variety of nonprofits to grow and communicate better with the people they serve as well as their supporters and donors. She earned a degree in English (with Honors) from the University of Connecticut and holds a Masters degree from Boston University. She is an experienced producer of online curriculum and video based instruction.
Luiz Augusto Buff
An IP attorney, specialized in Entertainment and Copyright Law, with a second degree in Music Business and Management from Berklee College of Music. Luiz developed experience in the music industry both as a musician, and also working at companies including Management company Ted Kurland Associates and Soundtrack Group. Prior to joining Digital Cowboys, Luiz collaborated with research and development for courses at Berklee Online and other institutions.
With a Music Business degree from Berklee College of Music and the chops of a prog rock guitarist, Chelsea has experienced the music industry from two different perspectives. While at Berklee she worked with musicians and entrepreneurs to create business and marketing strategies, promoting a practical understanding of marketing as it applies to the arts. She also served as assistant editor and contributing writer for Berklee’s Music Business Journal and held a marketing position at PRS Guitars. Chelsea has extensive experience with online marketing and content marketing.
Les has worked in multiple aspects of the music industry, including nightclub management and operations management for rehearsal and recording studios. Les is an experienced video producer and editor with numerous projects to his credit. He has significant experience working with higher education institutions and music-related enterprises with a talent for creating strong professional relationships. He is also an experienced researcher with a concentration in music and law. Les is also a talented production assistant with numerous credits for events, live video shoots and online courses.
